But pastor Brenner kept driving by.

“We were going to tell you John. I was just waiting for the right moment! Wanda has ran off with Jones, she told Mary they are living together, but they are going to get married once your divorce is final!”

John began to cry for a brief moment, then it seemed as though he regained his strength. “May God’s will be done!”

The following week at pastor Brenner’s church. John gave his first sermon.

“Over the past few months, it seems like my whole life has been turned upside down, but through it all I have learn the real Gospel of God’s kingdom. And I have learned how to serve God in spirit and in truth. So bear with me, because we are going to go line by line, precept upon precept, to make sure we know and understand, the word of God!”

Everyone in the small church said. “Amen!”
